Chicken-carrying semi flips Friday morning

A 62-year-old truck driver received minor injuries just after 5:30am Friday morning when his semi crashed and spilled thousands of chickens in had been hauling all over the road.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the truck went off the left side of US-30 in Stark County, then hit a guardrail and overturned. The truck was transporting a load of chickens.

US-30 was closed for several hours during the clean up. Alcohol is not a factor in the crash
