Chillicothe parody page that irked mayor speaks out

A Chillicothe parody page has ruffled the feathers of the Chillicothe mayor. So much so, he said he is exploring legal routes.

City of Chilicothe, Ohio” on Facebook, the Chillicothe parody page, which has nearly four times the number of followers than the real Chillicothe page, had more than 27,000 shares on a post about the fireworks.

We reached out to the Administrators of “City of Chilicothe, Ohio” Chillicothe parody site this evening and spoke with them about the page and the mayor’s comments.

When we spoke to them they stated many times that they were a satire site and in no way impersonating government officials and plus they only have one “L.”

They went on to say, “we just like to bring smiles and laughter to everyone in the city to help deal with the day to day struggles of life” and that they love the City and the people but they need to “STOP DOING HEROIN.”

In Mayor Luke Feeney’s post today he threatened legal action saying, “I’ve asked the City Law Director to explore our potential claims, and I have already spoken to private legal counsel.”

When we asked about the threat, the response was simple, “we stand by the constitution.”

They had this to say about the mayor, “luke feeny bitch ass needs to know it’s a joke, not a dick, don’t take it so hard.”
