Three children dead, one injured in Coshocton County barn Fire

This morning at approximately 07:22 am, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a call to a structure fire on OH-60 near Warsaw, Ohio, with individuals potentially still inside.

When the Walhonding Valley Fire Department arrived on scene, the barn was fully engulfed and collapsing. Three children were killed in the fire and one other was transported to Genesis in Zanesville for treatment of their injuries.

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is assisting the Walhonding Valley Fire Dept. with the investigation. Also assisting at the scene was Jackson Twp Fire Dept., Coshocton County EMS., and the Coshocton County Coroner Dr. Robert Gwinn. The State Fire Marshall’s Service was contacted to assist in the investigation.
