Three children, ages 2, 4 and 6, were killed when a vehicle struck their horse drawn carriage when it was traveling along an Algansee Township, Michigan road on Friday.
A pickup truck rear-ended their carriage, ejecting all the occupants. The other passengers, which consisted of two adults and two more children, were taken to hospitals in Indiana and Michigan with serious injuries.
The driver of the truck has been identified as Tyler Frye and was arrested. Alcohol is expected to be a factor.
